holla

Hawaii was excellent! The weather was perfect and it was incredibly relaxing and stress-free. The wedding was really pretty, the pictures turned out great and the luau that night was so much fun. I tried Mahi Mahi for the first time and it's now my favorite fish. The highlight was probably when we went snorkeling at Molokini. My sister and I saw a reef shark and we even got my mom to go into the ocean. (she has a huge fear of sharks and the ocean) It's hard to believe that it's over and now we're back to our normal lives.

We just moved into our new place a week ago or so. I love having a house, especially after almost a year of living with in-laws and parents. Recommendation for everyone: don't ever ever live with your in-laws. It's in Maplewood, actually really close to Alex so when you come home for fall break (?) we should get together! I miss you guys. We are looking to start painting some rooms in a couple weeks and it seems like everything is falling into place. School actually isn't that bad. I'm doing the massage clinic for the public this semester and surprisingly enough I've done okay. I think I tend to doubt my abilities rather than think I'll do well.

I can't wait for this election to be over. I hope the right person wins. I don't think I'll be able to stomach it if McCain and Palin are in office. Especially Palin. How can someone so stupid and uninformed be in a position of vp? The only good thing about her being in the race is to watch Tina Fey (who is brilliant) impersonate her. (end rant)

We lost Moose the other day. Somehow her gate got open and she got out. We had to go pick her up at a vet clinic on monday. luckily she was unharmed.

I'm currently trying to find a wedding reception place for next year. I'm so tired of all this wedding stuff and I've barely begun.

I just finished the Twilight series. My sister got the first one for her birthday and it kinda went downhill from there. They were good books and I enjoyed most of them. The first and the last were my favorite and I'd like to see the movie when it comes out.

Well, that's pretty much my life updated to this point. Sometimes it's hard to believe that I still have this blog. At least when Alex goes back to her archives she's usually written something intelligent. My high school entries go along the lines of "I hate my parents" and "let me talk about who I feel close to right now" I feel like I've grown and matured over the last couple of years but....

Anyway, I'm glad that it's still alive. And I tend to feel better about stuff after I've written in it.

I'm really happy you had a good time in Hawaii :D

I like to think of the blog thing as a frequency issue. I have SO MANY entries that statistically speaking I'm bound to have something good in there somewhere out of the hundreds that I wrote for that year. A lot of the entries are "squee orlando bloom!" or "Squee Billy boyd!" or "squee Elijah wood's Nipples!"

I think you get my point :)

I never found your blog boring.
